校友會於2月18日為同學舉辦就業講座，吸引超過80位同學參加。本院邀得來六位自公關、廣告、新媒體、報業及廣播界的講者，包括縱橫公共關係顧問集團董事長曾立基先生、友邦集團助理副總裁（投資者關係）李子筠小姐、盈科拓展集團高級副總裁魯庭暉先生、陽光衛視旗下新媒體雜誌《陽光時務》視覺總監邱晨小姐、《星島日報》社會新聞總採訪主任鄭炳華先生，以及香港有線新聞有限公司新聞總監馮德雄先生，與在場同學分享求職心得和各個界別的工作前景及發展。講者都認為，同學求職時要強調自己能如何為雇主創造價值，而非自己能從工作中得到甚麼。

On February 18, the Alumni Association organized a career talk for students, and more than 80 students attended. We invited 6 speakers from the fields of public relations, advertising, new media, newspaper and broadcasting. The speakers included Chairman and Managing Director of the Strategic Public Relations Group Ltd. Mr. Richard TSANG, Assistant Vice President – Investor Relations of AIA Group Miss Feon LEE, Senior Vice President of PCG Group Mr. LO Ting Fai, Visual Director of the Chinese e-magazine iSun Affairs of iSunTV Miss QIU Chen, Chief Assignment Editor of Social News of Sing Tao Daily Mr. Joe CHENG, and News Controller of i-CABLE News Limited Mr. William FUNG. During the talk, they shared with students their job hunting experience, as well as the career prospects and developments in their fields. The speakers said that when applying for a job, it is best for students to emphasize how they can add value to the company, instead of what the job can offer them.
