Only online submissions are accepted. All entries must be submitted through the CUJA application platform (http://cuja.awardsplatform.com/). Entries by email or mail will not be accepted.
All submissions must be in either Chinese or English. Rules and technical requirements for each category are as follows:
Best Text & Print News Reporting
– Upload in PDF format or submit URL(s)*
– Maximum word-count limit: 5,000 words / Chinese characters
Best Text & Print News Feature
– Upload in PDF format or submit URL(s)*
– Maximum word-count limit: 10,000 words / Chinese characters
Best Video News Reporting
– Upload MediaPlayer or Quicktime compatible files; or submit URL(s)*.
– Maximum play-time limit: 10 minutes
Best Video News Feature
– Upload MediaPlayer or Quicktime compatible files; or submit URL(s)*.
– Maximum play-time limit: 30 minutes
Best Audio News Reporting/News Feature
– Upload MediaPlayer or Quicktime compatible files; or submit URL(s)*.
– Maximum play-time limit: 30 minutes
Best Multimedia News Reporting
– Consist of three or more of the following components: text, photo essay, video, audio/podcast, infographic and/or interactive elements
– Must submit URL(s)*
* The URL(s) should remain active from June to December 2025. A valid softcopy or PDF file of the work should be submitted if no URL(s) is available. If the work is behind a paywall, a username and a password should be provided in the online entry form. Invalid URL(s) will affect judging. Entries with invalid URL(s) may be disqualified without further notice.
An Entry Fee of HK$200 per entry must be paid upon submitting an entry, using Visa or MasterCard. No refund of entry fee will be made.
Submit before 6 July 2025, 10:00PM (HKT). The system will automatically close after the deadline.
The result will be announced in the last quarter of 2025.
